A House built on love, Holiness & welcome.
My Father's House is a Church of God in Christ congregation in Spencer, Oklahoma — a place where the presence of God is sought, the Word is honored, and every person who walks through the doors is treated like family.
More than a Sunday Service.
We are a multigenerational fellowship rooted in the Pentecostal-holiness tradition of the Church of God in Christ. From our worship to our outreach, everything we do flows from one conviction — that we were first loved by God, and so we choose to love Him in return.
Here you'll find people from every season of life worshipping together, lifting one another in prayer, and reaching out to serve the city of Spencer and the greater Oklahoma City community.
Three things shape this house.
Worship
We come expecting to meet God. Our worship is heartfelt, free, and centered on Jesus Christ.
Holiness
We pursue lives set apart for God — growing in character, integrity, and the fruit of the Spirit.
Love
We choose to love God and one another, opening our doors and our hearts to all who come.
Our Foundation
We hold to the historic faith of the Church of God in Christ and the truths of the Holy Scriptures.
The Holy Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and daily living.
One God, Three Persons
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Salvation in Christ
Salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Sanctification
We are called to holiness — a life set apart and continually shaped by the Holy Spirit.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the empowering baptism of the Holy Ghost for witness, worship, and service.
The Church & Community
The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship together, care for one another, and serve the world.
Supt. Chris Johnson
Supt. Chris Johnson shepherds My Father's House with a heart for prayer, sound teaching, and genuine community. His ministry calls believers to know the love of God deeply — and to live it out generously.
"Our prayer is simple: that everyone who comes through these doors would leave knowing they are loved by God and welcomed in His house."
